David Axson is an author, speaker and consultant specializing in all things managerial. David moved to the United States in 1991 and was a co-founder of The Hackett Group. He is the author of four books The Management Mythbuster (Wiley 2010), Half The World Away (Countinghouse Press 2009), Best Practices in Planning and Performance Management (Wiley 2007) and Best Practices in Planning and Management Reporting (Wiley 2003).

He lives with his wife, Donna; two children, Eleanor and James; dog, Monty; and cat, Baxter, in Bath, Ohio
